Event: Nutmeg State Nationals Breaking Championships

Location: : Hamden High School, 2040 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, Connecticut 06514.

Time: Doors open at 7:30 am, competition starts at 9 am.

 

Breaking categories: First Time Breaker, Creative Multi-Directional Wood, Power Wood (Hand, Elbow, Foot), Double Power Wood Hand, Power Concrete (Hand, Elbow, Foot); all ages, ranks, and genders.

Spectator fees: $7, children 5 yrs. and under free.

 

Regional Rating info: All USBA/WBA members will receive the following points toward Northeastern US

Ratings- 1st place- 2.5 points, 2nd- 2 points, 3rd- 1.5.

 

Grand Championships:

• Pee-Wee Male & Female - Most boards broken in 3 events (Power Wood Hand, Elbow, and Foot)- Winner receives Championship Belt and $25 prize.

• Junior Male & Female - Most boards broken in 3 events (Power Wood Hand, Elbow, and Foot)- Winner receives Championship Belt and $50 prize.

• Adult Male & Female - Most boards and blocks broken in 6 events (Power Wood Hand, Elbow, and Foot; Power Concrete Hand, Elbow, and Foot)- Winner receives Championship Belt and $150 prize.
